Wucci is the artist's name I gave myself to show homage to the luxury leather company Gucci. I wanted to replicate the luxury leather company while making it a one-of-one brand made by William, or in other words Wucci. The name Wucci revolves around my Italian heritage and a diverse style built from my midwestern environment.

My idea to create hand-made wallets came from a mix of perfect timing in my life and a burst of creative inspiration.
Being a creative hands-on learner, my previous career path was spent with 10+ years of experience in welding and fabrication.
Honing skills in metal alloys and high-performance concrete to create premium indoor/ outdoor furniture.
My entrepreneurial dream was to create something of my own, create a brand and sell to individuals with a premium standard cultivated with endless possibilities.
Early 2020 was the birth of WIlliams Handcrafted Co. Which unknowingly was not the best time to start.
The power of inspiration from musicians made the dreamer in me, a doer through leather craft.
All it took was liking a pair of alligator boots worn by a favored musician, on Instagram, for me to start visualizing how a leather wallet and matching leather belt would bring a personal touch to an everyday outfit, or a design to compliment different personalities.
